Text Box: Christ Emptied Himself.... being born in human likeness. Philippians 2: 7
This is one of the most beautiful times of the year. It is also one of the most beautiful seasons of the Liturgical calendar. Why is it so? Simply because of the hope and expectation this season brings. This time of the year we are moving from the beautiful colors of the fall to the naked trees of the winter covered with white snow. The nature has emptied itself to welcome the king. Everything around us is clean and clear so that no place will be hidden when the Lord is looking for a place to pitch His tent this year. The nature has prepared itself to welcome the greatest of all kings. Have we prepared ourselves for it? For I am taking my time, talent and my treasure out to welcome Him and I am emptying everything that clutters within me so that the naked branches of my heart will be filled with the glow of white snow that shines in the light of God's star.  The star that appears will have it's ray all the way shining into my heart is what I was told, and of course in the hearts of those present to welcome the Lord.

The Lord is not bringing a lot of things when he comes. Because God emptied everything God has so that what when he comes there will be nothing but the purity
